AWES Teaching Faculty Educational/Professional Qualifications:
For AWES PGT Teaching Faculty:
Candidate should have Post Graduation Degree of 50% marks and Professional in B Ed with 50% marks
For AWES TGT Teaching Faculty:
Candidate should have Graduation Degree of 50% marks and Professional in B Ed with 50% marks
For AWES PRT Teaching Faculty:
Candidate should have Graduation Degree of 50% marks and Professional in B Ed with 50% marks
AWES Teaching Faculty Age As on 01 April 2014:
For Fresh Candidates below 40 years and For Experienced Candidates below 57 years
AWES Teaching Faculty Selection Procedure:
Candidate Selection Procedure will do in two stages as given below.
Stage 1: Screening Exam, conducted on the Second Sunday of every year, for vacancies that will arise during the ensuing academic year. This is conducted by HQ AWES centrally, In addition to fresh candidates.
The following Candidates may also appear for the screening test
(i) Holders of Score Cards who want to improve their scores.
(ii) Those desirous of upgrading themselves. For E.g. a candidate holding score Card of
TGT may now want to obtain a card for PGT, having acquired additional qualification.
Stage 2: Interview, Evaluation of Teaching skills and computer proficiency will be held under the aegis of HQ Commands for Schools under their jurisdiction. For Language teachers, written test comprising Essay/ Comprehension will be held along with evaluation of teaching skills.
AWES Teaching Faculty Screening Exam 2013:
The Screening Exam for 2013 will be conducted on 08 Dec 2013, and Test will be conducted ON-LINE in the MCQ format.
AWES Teaching Faculty Exam Fee:
Candidate should pay Rs 600/-(nonrefundable) as AWES Teaching Faculty Exam Fee.
AWES Teaching Faculty Online Registration:
Candidates are expected to register ON-LINE for the screening exam by logging onto website www.awesindia.in. The registration portal will be open from 23 Sep 2013 to 21 Oct 2013. Candidates can register from 9AM on 23 Sep 13 to 5PM on 21 Oct 2013. Thereafter the portal will be closed.
AWES Teaching Faculty Exam Centers:
A list of Exam Centers will be available on the Registration Portal. The candidates are required to fill in three choices in order of preference. Effort will be made to allot the first choice to a candidate. If that centre is not being activated, one of the other two options will be allotted.
